About USA for UNFPA

USA for UNFPA, established in 1998 and headquartered in New York City, is the U.S. national partner for UNFPA, the United Nations Sexual and Reproductive Health Agency. We work to achieve three transformative results: zero unmet need for family planning, zero preventable maternal deaths, and zero incidents of violence toward women and girls, including harmful practices like child marriage and female genital mutilation.  We advocate for the reproductive rights and health of women and girls globally, fundraise for UNFPA’s lifesaving programs, and uplift the experiences of women.
