The Program Director for Young Alumni Philanthropy and Engagement will join a successful and dynamic partnership between the Office of Alumni Relations and Alumni Annual Fund. With guidance from the Directors of the Alumni Annual Fund and Alumni Relations, will develop a comprehensive engagement and giving program that balances the evolving needs of Carleton College and its youngest alumni population.

The Program Director for Young Alumni Philanthropy and Engagement will collaborate with the directors of alumni relations and annual fund to design a programmatic arc that will increase engagement and giving from alumni in years one through six post-graduation. This position thoughtfully forges working relationships with alumni leaders in the 1st - 6th years post-graduation and members serving on the Alumni Annual Fund Board. This role serves as a consultant to class leaders by guiding them through setting a communications flow that educates and informs alumni about the importance of the Alumni Annual Fund to the College’s budget.

The successful candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, a genuine interest in working with alumni volunteers and an understanding of the importance of the College’s relationship with its constituencies. This role requires an appreciation for the college’s liberal arts education. Experience and skill in working and communicating with diverse constituents, navigating challenging conversations, and building consensus.

This is a regular full-time, benefit eligible position.
