Annual Fund Coordinator
The Annual Fund Coordinator will be responsible for advancing the vision and mission of Randolph-Macon Academy through effective fundraising. This individual will be expected to cultivate, retain, and grow our current donor base through the day-to-day operations of the Annual Fund program.
Coordinates communication and solicitation strategies that include but are not limited to email, direct mail, phone/mail, monthly donors, and corporate matching gifts.
Manages the volunteer Annual Fund Council in their peer-to-peer solicitations.
Personally solicits contributions from donors for Academy projects.
Collaborates with the Alumni Engagement Coordinator on the Alumni Giving and Reunion Giving programs.
Works with the Advancement Coordinator to ensure gifts are promptly acknowledged and that departmental goals for stewardship are achieved.
Helps to plan and staff special events such as Homecoming, Parents’ Weekends and Award/Special Recognition events.
Plans, organizes, and develops the annual report of donors and writes development articles for the Sabre magazine.
Prepares necessary reports for status updates, goal setting or strategizing for Board Meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-3 years in an annual giving campaign, including personal solicitations.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Well versed in computer programs; Microsoft, a must, and Raiser’s Edge, a plus.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as necessary and travel; must have a valid driver’s license.
