The A. James Clark School of Engineering seeks a Program Manager for the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation Building Together Programs. This person will be responsible for stewarding all programs funded by the Foundation and its predecessor entities. The Program Manager will report to the Assistant Dean for External Relations, and will work closely with the Dean, associate and assistant deans, and directors within the college. They will analyze program reports and provide guidance and recommendations to enhance program results. In collaboration with staff from the Clark School, Admissions, Financial Aid, and University leadership, the Program Manager will ensure robust and informed communications with the donor. They will also confirm that all reporting is done according to donor specifications and in a timely manner.

The Program Manager will assist in the planning and execution of the Clark Foundation’s annual campus-wide engagement plan led by the central Office of Donor Relations and Stewardship. The Manager will also administer and support the stewardship and reporting for all engineering Corporate and Foundation donors that have given more than $1 million to the university, and assist with central Corporate and Foundation principal gift engagement and events.

This position may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Education (include licenses, certifications, etc.):
Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:
A minimum of five years of demonstrated donor relations or related experience in a large, complex organization. Experience assessing data and producing complex reports for programming, operational, and strategic planning goals. Further, experience in donor relations programmatic initiatives and communications is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong Microsoft Office and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to work well with diverse groups of constituents and colleagues.
Energetic, positive, and professional self-starter and team player.
Ability to protect the confidentiality of information.
