The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is a dynamic and growing non-profit organization dedicated to research, advocacy, and patient and medical education to support those impacted by psoriatic disease. The NPF is seeking an experienced individual as our Director of Corporate Partnerships.   The Director of Corporate Partnerships will oversee business development and strategic alliances and is responsible for meeting revenue targets for the Foundation. Responsibilities include creating and developing strategy to cultivate new corporate alliances; developing and managing a broad-based, diverse portfolio of partnerships with companies; and meeting revenue targets to fund the Foundation’s programs. This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and is based in Washington, D.C./Alexandria, VA. The Director of Corporate Partnerships position requires substantial travel to various locations on the East Coast and other locations as needed.
Responsibilities include:  
  • Take primary responsibility for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate partners
  • Seek and develop additional partnership/revenue streams for the Foundation
  • In partnership with Chief Revenue Officer, implement national corporate partnership program, including comprehensive business plans, to meet annual revenue goals 
  • Oversee corporate advertising partnerships and recruitment services
  • Provide department updates and reporting, including but not limited to Board of Director reports
  • Create, review and update budgets, tracking profit and loss to reach financial revenue goals
  • Prepare and present talks at meetings, seminars and conferences, as needed to achieve corporate business development objectives
  • Oversee and manage the Corporate Relations department and staff
  • Write corporate grant proposals as needed
  • Manage corporate partner recognition program
Requirements Include:  
  • Five plus years of experience in strategic partnerships, corporate development and new business development
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Able to understand changing market opportunities, translating them into actionable strategies to achieve organization’s revenue objectives
  • Ability to create new and creative partnership solutions
  • Highly organized professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability and willingness to travel as required
  • Experience in overseeing budgets and grant writing
  • Able to establish priorities and develop effective working relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills and can meet deadlines under pressure
  • Highly organized, analytical, and possesses strong implementation/tactical skills
