Vice President of Institutional Advancement

The University of Saint Francis (www.sf.edu), a liberal arts institution seeks applications and nominations for the position of Vice President of Institutional Advancement (VPIA). Reporting to the new President, Rev. Dr. Eric Albert Zimmer, the VPIA will provide overall leadership for the university's fundraising and development programs including major gift fundraising, annual gift fundraising, corporate/foundation gifts, planned giving, prospect research, advancement and alumni relations and development services. The Vice President works closely with the President, Board of Trustees and donors at all levels to develop both long-term and immediate strategies and programs for the engagement, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of constituents in all matters pertaining to the advancement and philanthropic support of the University of Saint Francis.  

 

The successful candidate will: have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of management and fundraising experience, including experience in higher education; be dedicated to the ministry of Catholic education, a strong preference will be given to a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church; demonstrate honesty and loyalty to the University and will be supportive of its mission and religious affiliation; be a strategic thinker who is results-oriented and have the ability to function as a member of the senior administration.
