Sierra Club North Carolina Chapter Director
The Sierra Club’s NC Chapter Director oversees staff and strategic work in North Carolina in cooperation with volunteer leadership. A wide range of responsibilities include implementing the Chapter’s commitment to Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (EIJ) as central to its effective environmental work that focuses on NC issues and policies which impact communities of color disproportionately. The Chapter Director reports to the volunteer NC Chapter Executive Committee, implementing policies and programs adopted in collaboration with the Committee. They also manage the staff budget and operations of the following operational areas: conservation and legislative program, fundraising, volunteer development, member services, budgeting and financial management, and media relations.
