About the Perenchio Foundation

Guiding Principles

The following specific direction of Mr. A. Jerrold Perenchio and his legacy of philanthropy supporting the arts in Los Angeles County will ground the work of the Foundation:

  • Focus on grants to qualified charities located primarily in Los Angeles County that demonstrate a positive, lasting impact.

    • Institutions that foster the visual arts, including but not limited to, museums of fine art, and other organizations that support film and other non-profit programs fostering the visual arts.

The balance, if any, of the Foundation’s distributions should primarily support the funding of academic scholarship programs for disadvantaged young people in Los Angeles County and scholarships for students attending California State University, Fresno.
