The position of Brand Ambassador reports to the Director of the Center for Continuing Studies and Distance Education (CCSDE). He/ She will support the CCSDE Program Manager with Sanford Institute of Philanthropy in operational activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as Brand Ambassador for all initiatives – plan, coordinate, implement and finalize projects according to the specifications and deadlines.
-Coordinates activities that promote Sanford Institute of Philanthropy locally and the surrounding areas.
-Develops strategic relationships with corporations, professional organizations, non-profits, and foundations to communicate program benefits
-External outreach efforts to secure educational workshops, speakers and trainers.
-Participate in monthly meetings to report, strategize and discuss future events.
-Generate revenue through Sanford workshops
-Assist in the creation of effective email communication utilizing email marketing software and lead lists.
-Generate attention-getting social media campaigns targeting students and oversee SIP’s presence on various social networks, including Facebook and Twitter.
-Generate monthly or quarterly progress reports
-Represents Sanford Institute at Xavier University of LA in community outreach initiatives, meetings, conferences, etc.
-May require the ability to work evenings and weekends and some overnight travel
