The House of the Good Shepherd is a continuing care retirement
community (CCRC) who provides an array of senior living options on
one campus should care needs change in the future. We are located
alongside the gorgeous Musconetcong River on over a dozen acres of
land making your work day that much more beautiful! We
currently have an opening for a dynamic & passionate Director
of Development.
General Responsibilities: *This position is responsible for planning, organizing & implementing fund development activities and events to fund-raise for The House of the Good Shepherd’s Foundation. *Develops community and business development relationships in order to secure financial support from individuals and corporations. *Manages Capital campaigns for large scale building projects. *Completes grant applications and works with Sales & Marketing on special fundraising events throughout the year. *Responsible for social media management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in a related field
2-4 years of experience in business development and/or fundraising in a senior living setting
Excellent interpersonal skills for working with internal and external clients
Strong computer skills "The House" Perks: Pension (Vested day one) Free Lunch
