St. Joseph's Hospitals Foundation (SJHF), based in Tampa, Florida, seeks a dynamic, distinguished executive to serve as its next President. SJHF supports St. Joseph's Hospitals, which are part of BayCare Health System, a 15-hospital system with $4.4 billion in annual revenue that spreads over Central Florida. This is a compelling opportunity to build on a stable history of fundraising and work with a dedicated board to take the SJHF organization to new heights.

SJHF requires a thoughtful relationship builder in this role with deep experience in fundraising and both developing and maximizing fundraising teams. Tampa is a highly competitive market with a number of healthcare options and institutions, but the St. Joseph's and BayCare brands position the Foundation well for future success as the new President strategically and effectively leverages these assets.

This role reports to both the Foundation Board of Directors and the President of St. Joseph's Hospital, Kimberly Guy, and oversees a team of nine skilled advancement professionals. Within this reporting structure, the President will develop an overall strategic fundraising plan; establish clear fundraising goals; manage and motivate the staff in pursuing gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations and maintain his/her own portfolio of major and principal gift donors. He/she will guide and support board members in their many roles and especially in their role as fundraisers; and safeguard the assets of the foundation.

The next SJHF President will be a leader who is able to enthusiastically engage with the board, SJHF donors, and the broader Tampa community to cultivate and initiate relationships that will ultimately benefit St. Joseph's Hospitals. S/he will be an expert at coaching a high-performing team, setting goals across the organization, holding team members accountable and developing a philanthropic vision for SJHF and St. Joseph's Hospitals.
