Director of Major Gifts, PCOB Job no: 515438

Reporting to the Director of Development (PCOB), the Director of Major Gifts in the Pamplin College of Business will qualify, cultivate, and solicit philanthropic contributions from a portfolio of Pamplin alumni and friends. Solicitation range typically will fall in the range of $100,000 to $1 million. The Director of Major Gifts is responsible for the design and implementation of thoughtful, donor-centric strategies in support of college and university priorities. The Director will also assist with selected stewardship of major gift donors. S/he will be a highly motivated and experienced fundraising professional with excellent inter-personal communication skills. S/he will be deeply involved in the fundraising efforts of the Pamplin College of Business in support of current operations and endowment.
