Development Officer I

If you answered “yes” to these questions, you may be the perfect addition to our Team of experienced, dedicated development professionals at Unity World Headquarters, a 501 c3 spiritual organization, based in eastern Jackson County, just 15 minutes from downtown Kansas City.  

Position Summary:   Responsible for developing and stewarding meaningful relationships with major donors and prospects. Manage and grow major gifts, capital campaign contributions and secure planned gifts from Unity donors in your assigned portfolio.

Donor engagement and relationship building is key to success in our Development work at Unity; we use a comprehensive matrix to track effectiveness including virtual visits, in-person meetings, phone calls, electronic communication, and written communication. Members of the Development Team work together with Unity leadership and Board Members to enhance the effectiveness of development activities at Unity World Headquarters.

Pay & Benefits Summary:   Range $70-74K per year, 4 day work week. Full health, dental and vision coverage.

Remote able to work in selected states within the United States
