Overview This position supports the Planned Giving
team, responsible for structuring charitable gifts for The Rotary
Foundation at Rotary International. You will have the opportunity
to interact with generous, philanthropically motivated individuals
who are improving the world with their financial resources. Your
contribution will serve to make it easy for them to plan their
giving and impact multiple charitable activities, including the
programs of The Rotary Foundation. You Will
Have
- A college degree
- 4 years-experience in customer service, banking, paralegal or executive administrative support
- An understanding of fiduciary responsibility
- Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Etc.)
- Mathematical aptitude
- A demonstrated ability to work independently
- Showing attention to detail
- Written and oral communication
- Interacting with high-level donors and volunteers
- Self-motivating and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Taking pride, ownership and initiative over your work
- Primary customer service contact for:
- advisors who already have Donor Advised Funds with The Rotary Foundation
- individuals and groups interested in opening new funds
- gift officers and volunteers who wish to promote the Donor Advised Fund
- Communications
- Draft articles for newsletters
- Keep web materials up to date
- Draft quarterly communications for account advisors
- Support the Donor Advised Fund communications plan
- Administrative
- Keep program guides and materials up to date in response to policy and legal changes
- Maintain records and files in a consistent and organized manner suitable for auditing
- Coordinate the preparation of Trustee items and committee materials related to the Donor Advised Fund, as needed
- Review and update monthly transaction records for The Rotary Foundation’s financials
- Monitor financial transactions and transfers of funds, including the supervision of grant processing and due diligence requirements
