EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TEMPLE ISRAEL of the City of New York,  a landmark Manhattan Reform synagogue (1870) set in the heart of the Upper East Side - overall responsibility for the day-to-day and longer-term operations of the congregation. Reports to the President & Senior Rabbi working closely and in partnership. Responsibility is to shape and implement the policies established by the Board of Trustees in support of the congregation's mission and to enhance the Sr. Rabbi's ability, along with the Sr. Staff, to provide spiritual, educational, cultural, community leadership. We seek a high level, collaborative, analytical problem solver, motivating and experienced professional who above all is a mensch.
