The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Philanthropy Phone Representative to develop relationships with existing partners for the purpose of cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding them for planned gifts to the ministry.

A proven track record of success will include the following:

• Proven track record of cultivating relationships via telephone, using questioning techniques and other methods of communication with track record of improving revenues through relationship building
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with donors and CBN staff in positive and professional manner
• Strong working knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
• Knowledge of basic aspects of estate planning, legacy issues, and taxes
• Ability to learn the role of gift planning and its application to estate planning
• Strong knowledge of Biblical principles and doctrine
• Strong project and time management skills with ability to multi-task assignments
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to speak persuasively and articulate CBN’s programs, mission, and purpose
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor database software
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Discreet with the ability to demonstrate sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
• Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
