Dartmouth seeks an accomplished fundraising professional to join
its Family Giving and Engagement team. The primary responsibilities
for this position include raising the maximum current use dollars
from parents, grandparents and family members and working with the
Family Giving team to execute a comprehensive engagement strategy
for the overall parent and family constituencies of Dartmouth. The
Managing Director will manage a volunteer Family Leadership and
Fundraising Committee, carry a portfolio of 150-200 individual
prospects, and will work closely with the Director to establish
Parents Fund goals and program activities to ensure overall success
of Dartmouth's Family Giving fundraising efforts.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of
four years of fundraising, sales, or marketing experience, or the
equivalent. Demonstrated successful experience soliciting
five-figure levels or higher, management experience, particularly
related to the operational aspects of an annual giving program and
managing leadership volunteers, demonstrated creative planning,
organization, and problem-solving skills, and data-based decisions
making experience. The successful candidate will have a track
record of success in building relationships and meeting goals.
Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal
skills and a capacity to manage a wide range of relationships and
situations.
