The Director of Corporate Relations spearheads all corporate fundraising activities and events, and serves as a liaison with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will strengthen and build upon a robust corporate giving program that reinforces the Museum's global and socially conscious brand, reflects its leadership, and develops long-term relationships with companies across multiple industries.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated success in securing sponsorships or corporate donations at the six-figure level and above
- Successful supervisory experience mentoring a seasoned and dedicated team
- Significant project management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity, drive, and terrific problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to remain poised, articulate, and calm under pressure
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, familiarity with Raiser’s Edge, and knowledge of cause marketing and social media
- Background and interest in the arts are ideal
Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve ambitious fundraising goals to support the Museum's special exhibitions, public programs, education initiatives, capital projects, and corporate Membership
- Identify, cultivate, and secure corporate donations and sponsorships up to the seven-figure level, both financial and in-kind
- Lead pitch strategy meetings with key Museum stakeholders and develop presentations
- Coordinate all aspects of sponsorship fulfillment, including delivery of marketing, public relations, entertainment, and hospitality benefits, all while meeting contract specifications and deadlines
- Collaborate with departments throughout the Museum to execute sponsorship benefits and special programs, including food service providers
- Develop creative sponsorship packages that provide companies with measurable return on their investments through distinct brand association, entertainment, and activation opportunities, both on-site and digitally
- Lead corporate grant applications
- Draft and negotiate sponsorship contracts with the Museum's legal counsel
- Grow relationships with existing corporate donors and prospects
- Oversee and provide guidance and training for a team of two direct reports: Assistant Director, Corporate Relations, and Assistant Manager, Corporate Relations
- Represent the Museum at donor events on evenings and weekends, as needed
