Nestled between three metropolitan areas (Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis), the Bloomington-Normal community is home to four institutions of higher education, numerous eateries, activities, and civic engagement opportunities.  Through the promotion and affirmation of diversity in all its forms, IWU creates a campus environment where students, faculty and staff will engage people from different backgrounds and encounter a plurality of experiences.

Over the past 171 years, Illinois Wesleyan has left an indelible mark on the students who have passed through its classrooms, laboratories, performance halls, and athletic fields.  The Office for Advancement works cohesively as a team to inspire philanthropy to provide financial support for students, faculty/staff, institutional programs, and campus facilities.  The purpose of this work is to provide a transformational undergraduate experience for Illinois Wesleyan students and prepare them for future success and the ability to positively impact society.

Extensive travel is required for this position.  Overnight stays average 30+ nights per year.
