Director of Development

The Development Director serves as the lead for agency fund development, assisting the Executive Director and Board of Directors in creating a multi-year plan for the revenue to support agency growth, and serves as a member of the management team. The director manages the agency's fund development plan that includes major gifts; annual giving; gift planning program; research and stewardship. The director is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting high level prospective donors to assist the agency in reaching budget goals. The Development Director works closely with the Development Team consisting of a Communications & Marketing Director and Development Specialist to ensure alignment of the efforts around the Agency's development plan. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fundraising and development is required. This is a full-time position, with benefits, and measurable metrics of performance.
