Applications are live through July 28,
2021, for the Morgridge
Acceleration Program (MAP) Fellowship. This part-time,
fully-funded program matches emerging leaders, called MAP Fellows,
with nonprofit executives, called MAP Mentors, driven to create
positive impact while leveling up their skill sets and deepening
professional networks.
From a competitive selection pool of hundreds of
applicants, twelve MAP Fellows will be selected and paired with
twelve MAP Mentors from across the country. In addition to hands-on
mentorship, MAP Fellows receive executive coaching, access to
curated in-person and virtual events, funding for a two-day site
visit to their mentor’s organization, and membership into a
national cohort of peers. Additionally, up to $4,000, generously
underwritten by The Rieschel Family Foundation, is available for
each organization. The program kicks off in Denver, Colorado, with
a series of workshops hosted in part by MindSpark Learning, and
culminates in Washington, D.C. with presentations by MAP Fellows to
an invitational audience of public, private, and social sector
leaders.
The twelve MAP Mentors represent leading nonprofits —
from organizations like Jane Goodall Institute and Massachusetts
Institute of Technology — and have each issued unique challenges
designed to engage fellows in the intense and rewarding experience
of change-making. MAP Mentors nurture the innovative thinking,
imaginative dreaming, and strategic spirit required for each MAP
Fellow’s transformative growth over the course of the six-month
intensive.

The national call for fellow applications targets
emerging social impact leaders who are primed to apply their
talents to an executive-level challenge. The MAP Fellowship’s
inaugural cohort witnessed fellows reimagining fundraising efforts,
cracking the code for rebranding age-old Institutions, and
engineering strategic plans that transformed entire
organizations.
“The power of the MAP Fellowship is proven,” said
Carrie Morgridge, Vice President of the Morgridge
Family Foundation. “This isn’t just an opportunity for emerging
leaders to deepen their experience and exposure in social impact.
It’s a calling on them to disrupt it.”
Emerging social impact leaders interested in the
fellowship are encouraged to learn more and apply by visiting
the MAP Fellowship page.
