The Prescott Historical Society is looking for an experienced development manager to join its team at the AAM-accredited Sharlot Hall Museum, a beautiful 4-acre campus in downtown Prescott that includes historic buildings, exhibits, a collection of over 40,000 objects, and a research library with an extensive archival collection. The Development Manager will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes major donors, individual giving, grant writing, membership and corporate support. Candidates must be excellent writers, have extensive experience with donor databases and on-line fundraising, and have a thorough knowledge of current fundraising best practices. This is a state position with a starting salary of $50,000-$55,000, plus excellent benefits, including medical insurance, paid vacation, and participation in the state retirement program.
