Associate Director of Alumni Engagement and Affinity Programs

Ball State University Foundation is welcoming applications for Associate Director of Alumni Engagement and Affinity Programs.

This position will plan, manage, implement and direct alumni engagement in support of the mission and strategic goals for assigned Constituent, Affinity and Reunion groups; manage new and existing Affinity alumni boards and societies; collaborate with university leadership and internal foundation team in the overall planning and administration of alumni engagement events, reunions and additional activities.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Three years of alumni relations or relevant experience working with volunteers. Experience in the management and execution of events to include marketing, planning, and event coordination. Effective written and oral communication skills along with strong organization skills; ability to function cooperatively with a wide variety of individuals; willingness to work weekends and events; willingness to travel; proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and other platforms as needed.

 

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree. Five or more years-experience working in alumni relations, volunteer recruitment and management. Working knowledge of Blackbaud NXT or other CRM.
