YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE...
- Portfolio Management (60%)
- Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective partners through regular meetings, communications, and stewardship events (e.g., program visits, student roundtables)
- Write grant proposals and reports; manage due diligence processes as requested
- Partner with Program team to monitor grant outputs and outcomes
- With Finance Director, prepare and track restricted grant budgets
- Advise gala consultant on corporate partner outreach for sponsorships
- Handle gift processing and acknowledgments for grants; maintain accurate contact and donation data in Salesforce
- Institutional Partnership Strategy (40%)
- With CDO, track revenue pipeline and key KPIs
- Target and cultivate anchor corporate partners in key industries, coordinating across the team on employee volunteerism and student internship/job opportunities
- Advise on corporate engagement for board and major donor prospects
- Other duties as assigned
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH...
- Experience in non-profit development, communications, and/or community partnerships
- Understanding of the NYC education and philanthropic systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to tailor communications to different audiences
- A people-first orientation around building relationships
- Strong project management skills, including the capacity to horizontally manage people across departments and excellent attention to details and timelines
- Salesforce or other CRM experience

- Annual Salary range is between $58,500 - $61,000 (commensurate with experience and skills) that is reviewed annually

COVID-19 Vaccination
While this role may begin remotely, BTNY anticipates returning to a hybrid work environment in mid- September 2021.
