Summary

The Corporate Relations Manager is a front-line fundraising position responsible for developing and maintaining key corporate relationships in order to raise funds and awareness in support of Army Emergency Relief.  Working in close coordination with the development team, this role is also responsible for assisting with the daily operational responsibilities of the department and assists with developing and implementing the strategic plan.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements corporate donor program for first-time corporate donors in order to deepen relationships, increase retention, and maximize giving
  • Works with Marketing and Communications team to ensure that Corporate donors are appropriately recognized in website, Annual Report, social media, etc. as well as developing donor toolkit
  • Conducts virtual and in-person visits with current and prospective donors, coordinates donor’s engagement with AER; developing strategies, as appropriate, for other staff member interactions
  • Collaborates with the Development staff to create strategies for cultivation events and other events for corporate donors
  • Oversees the maintenance and updating of all primary and secondary contacts and relationships in database
  • Works with Chief of Development to establish fundraising goals and monitor progress towards those goals
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • 4+ years in fundraising, corporate relationships, and donor stewardship experience preferred
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • General knowledge of computers, various software, applications, and programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience in stewardship of donors and corporate sponsors
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
