Overview This position supports the Planned Giving
Team, responsible for structured gifts to the Endowment at The
Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. You will have the
opportunity to support generous philanthropists with your attention
to detail and passion for excellence. Your contribution will serve
to help individuals design gifts that meet their philanthropic and
financial goals through Rotary. You Will
Have
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years’ experience handing administrative duties
- Raiser’s Edge, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams experience
- Experience in a customer service role
- Comfort in speaking to strangers
- Written and oral communication
- Proofreading and editing written material
- Handing multiple projects simultaneously
- Working independently as well as part of a team
- Showing attention to detail
- Learning new software
- Identifying efficiencies
- Maintaining records and files in a consistent and organized manner suitable for auditing
- Preparation of acknowledgement packets to Charitable Gift Annuity, Charitable Remainder Trust and Pooled Income Fund donors, and the entering gift data in accounting and fundraising databases
- Monitoring financial transactions and transfers of funds, including supervising closed Life Income Agreements and related entries in accounting and fundraising databases
- Coordinating the preparation of correspondence with executors and trustees of the estates of Life Income Agreement participants
- Coordinating the annual Charitable Remainder Trust federal and state filings
- Reviewing and submitting quarterly and annual Charitable Gift Annuity filings and fees with state regulators
- Handling general inquiries from volunteers, donors, and staff
- Drafting correspondence and office memoranda
- Supporting the Planned Giving communications plan with Adestra campaigns
- Creating specialized reports for various aspects of Planned Giving activities
