The prestigious UCLA Anderson School of Management offers an excellent academic program located in the creative capital of the world — home to Snap, Hulu, Disney and a major location for every consulting and banking firm — with the third largest GDP in the world, the largest manufacturing economy in the western United States. The Anderson School of Management is seeking a Senior Director of Leadership and Annual Giving to manage programs and initiatives that raise the funds to support the brightest business leaders in the world.

As a creative thinker and highly collaborative professional, you will identify, cultivate, and solicit prospects (primarily in the range of $25,000 to $100,000) and will manage the UCLA Anderson Annual Fund, Annual Giving, and Reunion Giving appeals, projects and programs  through a team of professional and support staff. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean, Development, you will strategically oversee the UCLA Anderson Reunion and Student Affiliates Giving programs, creating involvement opportunities and contribution programs for all alumni, including the MBA, EMBA, FEMBA, GEMBA and Executive Education certificate program. As a strong builder of relationships, you will manage the Dean's Society leadership annual giving recognition program and will oversee the design and management of the school's Annual Fund, including donor recognition and stewardship programs.  You will work with development leadership and major gift officers to develop strategies to move top-level Annual Fund donors into the Leadership and Major Gifts categories. Your prior experiences in communications will enable you to provide strategic guidance in the development and oversight of Annual Fund communications, including telemarketing, electronic giving and direct mail campaigns and will serve as the primary liaison to the Annual Fund Development Committee to ensure a highly personalized, well-integrated, smoothly executed and comprehensive unrestricted giving campaign.

Among other qualifications, as an ideal candidate, you should have substantial, successful annual giving leadership experience as a professional development officer within a complex research university setting or related environment such as sales, marketing or business development.  You will have a proven ability to cultivate and solicit individuals, particularly at the leadership gift level. Your prior experiences have enabled you to develop the skills to supervise and manage annual giving development staff, volunteers, administrative assistants and student workers.  You thrive on building and sustaining relationship and your interpersonal skills will enable you to develop and enhance relationships with alumni, students, volunteers, faculty, staff, senior university officials and the public.
