ABOUT NO MEANS NO WORLDWIDE 

No Means No worldwide (“NMNW”) is a non-profit organization with a mission to end sexual violence against women and children. As one of only a few evidence-based, dual gender violence prevention programs for women and youth in the world, NMNW offers programs with teach empowerment self-defense to women, girls, and gender equity to boys in communities with high rates of gender-based violence. 

NMNW developed a system for violence prevention, intervention and recovery in 2009 in Kenya and is scaling up its programs globally through training and technical assistance for strategic partners. The program was designed and adapted based on a classic feminist model developed in the 60s and 70s called Empowerment Self-Defense. THE OPPORTUNITY: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

No Means No Worldwide is seeking an ambitious, talented, and visionary leader in violence prevention to scale programs for the organization while maintaining operational fidelity and take the organization to new heights in the next chapter, building on the strong track record and successes of the last decade. 

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, financial, and managerial direction for NMNW and reports to the Board of Directors. With a deep passion for NMNW’s mission, the Executive Director will drive significant results both internally and externally. 

This role can be based anywhere in the United States (global flexibility for the right candidate will be considered).
