The Historic New Orleans Collection (THNOC) is a museum, research center, and publisher dedicated to the study and preservation of the history and culture of New Orleans and the Gulf South region.  We are seeking a Stewardship and Administrative Coordinator.

 

The Stewardship and Administrative Coordinator is a vibrant and challenging new position in the Development Department that plays a key role in the long-term sustainability of The Collection. The Stewardship and Administrative Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the stewardship program, including assisting with the development of a comprehensive and robust stewardship program.  The Stewardship and Administrative Coordinator assists with the effective retention of current donors through appropriate initiatives including but not limited to communication, recognition, the monitoring of gift use and reporting.  The position will require effective and regular communication with staff, the ability to maintain records and the compilation and articulating of pertinent information.    

 

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of related work experience and demonstrate a willingness to be a change-agent and incorporate new ideas and work models to maintain as well as improve the department’s stewardship program.  This position must have proven interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills, the ability to be flexible in an evolving work environment, and the capacity to troubleshoot and make decisions.  Additionally, this position must be detail oriented, have an ability to meet deadlines, and be capable of learning donor/mailing database software.   

 

This is a full-time position working Mondays-Fridays.
