THE WHY
Are you a Force for Good? Do you desire to make a meaningful impact with your work? Do you enjoy collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to create win-win relationships?
Can you imagine yourself enabling world-class research and empowering bright and ambitious Notre Dame students? If the answer to any of these questions is “Yes” - please read on!

THE ROLE
The Program Director for Corporate Relations works closely within the Corporate and Foundation Relations team, a group of professionals focused on growing external support for faculty-led research and corporate philanthropy through effective ideation and concept development. You work directly with faculty, staff, and administrators to understand, synthesize, and articulate research expertise and priorities for a corporate audience. You will also proactively identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporations on a local, regional, national, and international level.

Does this sound like you?
Analytical, creative, and able to approach a concept from multiple angles? Do you appreciate working independently with initiative and strong intrinsic motivation, and also find success in a team environment with a servant-leadership style? With your excellent writing and editing skills, effective communication style, and navigational ease within both an academic setting and a corporate environment, you will be able to successfully understand and communicate complex ideas to multiple constituents in ways that are compelling and coherent to each.
FIELDS OF IMPACT
The Program Director of Corporate Relations is intellectually curious and a synthesizer of knowledge! You will be challenged to advance key priorities in the broad areas of engineering and science, such as Diversity and Inclusion, Experiential Learning, Big Data, Nano Hardware, Research Computing, Membranes, Microfluidics and Nanofluidics, Hypersonics, Turbomachinery, Wireless, Sustainability, Water, Precision Medicine, Neuroscience, Patient Advocacy and Rare Disease.

KEY GOALS AND ACTIVITIES
To achieve individual, team, and University goals, you will manage and grow your portfolio of corporate relationships through engagement and ideation with internal faculty, staff, and administrators and through building broad multifaceted relationships with companies. As the Corporate Relations Program Director, you will lead the planning and implementation of major fundraising efforts on behalf of your faculty constituents and in support of other University priorities. Fund-raising efforts will start at the leadership level ($100k) and tend toward the principal gift level ($5M+).
