Chief Partnership Officer
An Invitation to Apply for the Position of
Chief Partnership Officer
New York City, New York
NAF, a dynamic and innovative education and workforce development organization, is seeking its inaugural Chief Partnership Officer (CPO). The CPO will join the leadership of a nonprofit enterprise that is helping to solve some of the biggest challenges in education and the economy by transforming the high school experience. NAF is a public-private partnership that works to ignite students’ passion for learning and gives employers the opportunity to help shape America’s future workforce. The CPO will be part of a high-performing senior executive team and will bridge the gap between the programmatic activity of the organization and the partners that support and engage in the work of NAF.
NAF’s national network of education, business, and community leaders work together to ensure high school students are college, career, and future ready. NAF academies equip young people from underserved communities with the knowledge capital and social capital they need to succeed. NAF’s work prepares a skilled and diverse talent pipeline for our country’s most high
growth industries, in partnership with high schools, corporations, and community leaders. By connecting schools and businesses, NAF provides a network of career academies that are small, focused learning communities within public high schools and themed around thriving high-need fields and industries.
Partnerships are at the heart of NAF’s promise and always have been. Cultivating and sustaining a broad array of partnerships is essential for NAF to realize its vision of a world in which all young people have equal opportunity for successful futures. NAF has been working for nearly 40 years to accomplish its mission and has made a powerful impact on hundreds of thousands of high school students across the country. The CPO will be a leader who possesses vision and a track record of building ecosystems of high-impact partnerships. The successful candidate will shape and lead the execution of a strategy to manage broad and deep relationships with current partners and identify, assess, and develop new corporate and other partners. A successful CPO will elevate and accelerate NAF’s partnership engagement work and contribute significantly to the achievement of NAF’s ambitious goals, including a four-fold increase in the number of young people reached by 2025.
For this consequential recruitment, NAF is being assisted by Isaacson, Miller, the national recruiting firm. Confidential inquiries, referrals, and nominations may be directed to Karen Avery, Partner; Lisa Saveried, Partner; and Joanna Cook, Senior Associate, at:
