This role will oversee a comprehensive partnerships strategy for treatment centers and other key recovery organizations, working collaboratively with local, regional, and national staff to ensure that implementation is effective, scalable, and adaptable. The ideal candidate will have existing connections with treatment centers, recovery organizations, and/or collegiate recovery programs. This role can be located anywhere with proximity to a major airport. Preference will be given to those with personal experience in recovery from alcohol or a substance use disorder. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with national and regional leadership, develop and execute a comprehensive partnerships strategy for treatment centers, recovery organizations, and collegiate recovery organizations to support the organization's key strategic objectives
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting partnership relationships or facilitate transition of partnerships to regional teams
  • Manage agreements, timelines, projects, and deliverables
  • Identify and source partnership opportunities though inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and networking to foster new partnership opportunities
  • Innovate processes to maximize efficiency, mutual benefit, and partner engagement
  • Develop staff resources, staff partnership development and management skills and develop key trainings
  • Analyze and report on partnership initiatives and metrics
  • Plan and oversee key partnership and networking events
  • Present on The Phoenix at large conferences and networking events
  • Activate events in local area to build awareness of The Phoenix
  • Travel as necessary

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years' experience in similar roles with an emphasis on strategic relationship building
  • High-level strategic and critical thinking, as well as a willingness to pivot quickly
  • Ability to spearhead multiple concurrent initiatives and create buy-in from cross-function teams
  • Ability to work effectively across teams, as both leader and significant contributor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated writing, editing, and communications skills
  • Proficiency with technology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people from all walks of life
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and integrity
  • Ability to travel up to 40-50% of the time
  • Proximity to a major airport

 

PREFERENCES

  • Lived experience as a peer in recovery
  • Fluency in two or more languages
  • Bachelor's degree
