The Director of Foundation Marketing supports
the development of the strategic narrative and positioning for the
next significant fundraising chapter for the Foundation. Helps set
priorities and provides oversight and support for external and
internal strategic content development that supports data use
across the organization. Collaborates with the CHOC Marketing team
and agency partners to create, implement and measure the success of
comprehensive marketing, programs that will raise money, enhance
the brand and elevate CHOC’s position within the regional and
national healthcare community, as well as and the general
- Required: Minimum seven (7) years of experience in related
fields with an emphasis on digital marketing, CRM, consumer
insights and branding.
- Preferred: Over eight (8) years of experience in related fields
with an emphasis on digital marketing, CRM, consumer insights and
branding. Previous experience working in support of a non-profit
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Marketing or Business.
- Required: Demonstrated outstanding communication skills with
proven ability to synthesize input from various sources and
stakeholders, and clearly communicate assessment and next steps.
Ability to collaborate effectively and welcome thoughtful debate.
Strong experience with content creation, digital marketing, and
measurement in multi-channel environment (inclusive of owned and
paid/ external), understanding of CMS, CRM, and other technology
platforms. Ability to support brand consistency across multiple
touchpoints; creative problem solving and innovative attitude while
multi-tasking with full attention to detail. Ability to build
positive working relationships and work successfully in
cross-functional teams with varying levels of understanding of
