Position Summary

The Associate Director, Corporate & Institutional Giving is responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure new funding and renew existing grants from corporations, corporate foundations and other institutional funders to support conservation priorities. Reporting to the Colorado Director of Philanthropy, they will be responsible for managing and supporting the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of corporate and institutional funders.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents such as corporations, corporate foundations and major donors.
  • Experience in asking for and closing major gifts of $50,000 or more.
  • Experience in managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, preferably in a large non-profit environment.
  • Experience working with fundraising principles and practices.
  • Experience, coursework, or other training in current trends in corporate and institutional giving.

The estimated starting salary for this position is dependent on experience, qualifications, and location.

• Starting salary range is $89,000 - $99,000 depending on location and experience
