UCF Foundation is seeking an Executive Director for Advancement, University-Wide Initiatives responsible for creating and executing a plan to lead the Center for Innovation in the Arts & Entertainment capital fundraising project. The role will also provide a limited level of major and principal gift fundraising support to a second university initiative still to be determined.

Responsible for the discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and principal donor prospects. This position will be adept at engaging alumni, friends, companies, and foundations as both prospects and leadership volunteers. This position requires partnership with academic leadership and a high level of collaboration with fellow fundraising colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.

Preferences:

  • A professional with 10+ years of progressively sophisticated fundraising experience preferred.
  • Proven success fundraising for capital projects and naming rights opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of the Central Florida philanthropic community.
  • A record of executing cultivation strategies, soliciting, and successfully closing $1 million+ gifts.
  • Effective at building and fostering working relationships both within the organization and with external constituents.
  • Ability to quickly, but strategically, set priorities and map direction on concurrent fronts.
  • Strong ability to effectively collaborate with UCF colleagues on high-level, cross-campus donor strategies.
  • A record of managing complex projects from concept to execution; time management and organizational skills.
