The University of Queensland (UQ) is one of Australia’s leading research and teaching institutions. For more than a century, it has been bringing together outstanding educators, researchers and innovators – across a range of disciplines – to inspire the next generation and to advance ideas that can benefit the world. Today, UQ is ranked among the world’s leading universities and is consistently recognised as one of the top 5 universities in Australia.

Advancement at UQ works in partnership with colleagues throughout the University to increase engagement and to establish enduring relationships with key constituents including alumni, community, friends, organisations, trusts, foundations, industry and corporations. Under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Advancement), Advancement is investing in a high performing team to partner with UQ colleagues and our community to deliver new levels of sustained engagement and philanthropic support.

As a key member of the UQ Advancement Executive Team and working strategically with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Advancement), you will be responsible for leading a high-performing advancement services function, and will work to develop and execute strategies for quality improvement with partners across campus.  Leading a motivated and stable team, your focus on continuous improvement and service excellence will ensure that Advancement Services meets the needs of the Advancement team in a professional, meaningful and inspiring way.

You will bring extensive leadership capability and experience in developing and implementing sustained strategic initiatives.  A proven track record managing the integration, implementation, and maximisation of CRM systems is also essential.
