Supported by a dynamic and engaged Board of Directors comprising 35 voting members, our well-established and sophisticated fundraising strategy promises continued excellence, sustainability and growth for Roundup River Ranch in all areas of our operation.
The most qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate a successful track record leading a high performing fundraising team in achieving revenues in excess of $5 million annually. Experience developing comprehensive philanthropic strategies is essential. CFRE or Masters in philanthropy / non-profit management is preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Partner and collaborate with the Executive leadership team to develop and achieve annual organizational goals
Develop and manage annual revenue budgets, including periodic forecasting and expense management
Provide strong and inspirational leadership of the Development team to meet organizational and individual goals
Build and cultivate strong working relationships with Board members and Development and Advisory Committees
Leverage all facets of effective fundraising strategies in order to engage donors with a compelling connection to the Roundup River Ranch Mission
Maintain the very highest level of effective working relationships and confidentiality in all aspects of work
Present signature gala events with the capacity to meet substantial $million+ fundraising goals
Partner in the development and implementation a broad marketing and communications strategy that engages a diverse audience through a variety of communications channels and media
Personally steward and cultivate an extensive portfolio of donors at the ‘major gifts’ level
Expand the community of Roundup River Ranch supporters in Denver and surrounding areas
Ensure meticulous fiscal oversight, revenue tracking against budgetary parameters
JOB COMPETENCIES
Successful track record leading an extensive Development team, both on-site and in remote working locations to achieve annual fundraising goals
Direct experience in all facets of fundraising, including annual giving; major gifts; grants, foundations; corporate giving; grass roots; special events; campaigns; social media; planned giving; endowment; peer to peer etc.
Experience as an senior executive leader developing organizational strategies and goals and aligning departmental goals and activities to achieve these
Extensive signature gala event planning knowledge and experience, inclusive of high-level volunteer engagement, and attracting significant participation from donors.
Extensive experience building and maintaining philanthropic relationships with sophisticated donor base.
Intermediate / advanced level MS Office suite competency, including Excel, word, powerpoint, outlook, teams and other virtual platforms. Competency in and Raisers Edge or similar donor information database
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and experience, including the ability to deliver engaging and captivating presentations and communicating the impact of the the camper experience
Comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging leading edge and innovative best practice in philanthropy as well as national trends in philanthropy
Passion for supporting a Mission-centric community in achieving their philanthropic objectives
Ability to demonstrate the Roundup River Ranch Guideposts in all aspects of work
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years experience as Director Of Development at a non-profit with annual revenues exceeding $5 million
Demonstrated experience in development roles with examples of increasing responsibility and consistent growth in giving
Experience in staffing and managing multi-million $ campaigns
Ability to travel frequently between Eagle County, Denver, Front Range and other locations to support business needs
Willing to work frequent weekends and evenings to support cultivation events and other social engagements
