The Foundation is seeking a senior-level professional to play a lead role in the Foundation’s strategic grant-making process and in working with Casey units to support and sustain the supply of culturally specific, evidence-based programs.  

As a senior associate, you will:

  • provide content expertise on evidence-based program development, implementation, program fidelity monitoring and community engagement strategies;
  • promote the Foundation’s focus on evidence-based practice, communicating information to policymakers, target communities, providers, philanthropic partners and the general public;
  • support a proposal evaluation process that focuses on evidence-based practice, soundness of project design and adequacy of program evaluation and sustainability;
  • build the capacity of grantees, partners and staff to promote the building of evidence and the implementation and scaling of effective programs, practices and policies;
  • work with practitioners, researchers, evaluators and Casey colleagues to build support for equitable implementation, program development and/or scaling of programs developed by and for communities of color; and
  • initiate and monitor grants, contracts and invoices to ensure compliance and timely completion of contract requirements. 

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Master’s degree, at a minimum, in a relevant field (e.g., social work, public health, education, juvenile justice or mental health) with at least 12 years of work experience
  • Minimum of three years of management experience in a human services field. Management experience must include supervisory responsibilities as well as operational oversight of budgets and strategic planning
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills to implement and oversee complex multisite projects
  • Ability to collaborate with grantees, be comfortable with their changing needs and remain open to different deliverable and progression rates for each grantee, serving as a thought partner to leaders and program developers of color
  • Demonstrated experience with program development is essential
  • Exceptional writing, public speaking and presentation skills, including experience presenting complex subject matter to non-expert audiences and high-level decision makers
