Description:

The Finance and Operations Analyst is a key member of the Community Investing and Development (CID) Operations and Finance team, reporting to the Finance and Operations Lead SVP. The CID team works to enhance Citi’s positive social impact through equity investing, innovative financial solutions, and strategic philanthropy.

The Finance & Operations Analyst is responsible for increasing the Operations and Finance team’s productivity and efficiency through finance and vendor administration and operations support.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance/Vendor Administration: 

  • Onboard new suppliers in procurement system
  • Assist with Third Party Management vendor management processes
  • Process vendor invoices and submit purchase orders for payment
  • Assist with entering and processing charitable contribution payments, CD Services and Board Services and assisting in internal CRA processes, including documentation and tracking
  • Assist with monthly quality control monitoring and checks to ensure policies and procedures are adhere to
  • Maintain an understanding of Citi risk and controls policies and procedures
  • Assist with additional Finance/Vendor support as needed
Operations Support and Administration:

  • Assist with additional Risk and Controls requirements as needed such as MCA testing, COB, Records management, etc.
  • Manage technology assets and building/space allocations and assist in resolving any issues
  • Lead administrative process improvements; systemize and document processes and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to senior managers, including scheduling of meetings, travel planning, and processing Travel and Expense reports and new hire onboarding
  • Support departmental needs and manage special projects as needed
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 2+ years prior office experience highly desired
  • Bookkeeping/Accounting knowledge preferred
  • Resourceful and proactive
  • Interest in philanthropy/non-profit issues a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task 
  • Flexible/Adaptable to change
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral; customer service mind set.
  • Must be willing and able to perform administrative tasks at an executive level, but also work independently on self-directed projects
  • Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment as a team player, with tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Must be able to work with staff to problem solve and troubleshoot general inquiries
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new software programs
