The Manager of Stewardship, Events, and Communication works with the museum Development team to develop and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship plan that engages current and prospective major donors. This will include small and large scale membership and donor events (in-person, hybrid, and online). This role will include a central project management role working to communicate and execute within event timelines; complete event marketing and production tasks; and proactively communicate and coordinate fundraising tasks with the Development team. In addition, the Manager will work with Development and Communications staff to develop and implement an annual donor communications strategy to steward and cultivate current and potential donors. This position is full-time, temporary, exempt with funding through June 30, 2024.

Bachelors degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5+ years of fundraising and/or event management or related experience required. Creative, organized professional with demonstrated team-based fundraising success. Proven, successful project management and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with the local nonprofit and educational communities preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Genuine commitment to the mission of the Museum and ability to articulate the importance of the organization’s work. Must be able to provide courteous and effective service to co-workers, volunteers, and the general public Computer literate, Internet savvy, and proficient with MS Office and Google Suite; experience with Altru a plus. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
