CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT (DIA)
SUPERVISES: EXTERNAL VENDORS (i.e., EVENTS); ADVANCEMENT ASSOCIATE AND ADVANCEMENT SERVICES MANAGER ON SELECT PROJECTS

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, the Associate Director will be responsible for implementing, executing and maintaining donor relations and stewardship activities for special constituency donors including, but not limited to donors recognized through annual giving to the President’s Circle and planned giving Legacy Circle, and other friends of IAIA. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Institutional Advancement team, IAIA faculty, and IAIA Foundation Development Committee to cultivate and solicit donors and sponsors for gifts to meet IAIA development priorities.
Duties include developing and managing philanthropic relationships with constituents and diverse partners, stewarding a portfolio of 50+ donors, creating and executing advancement-focused events, collaborating on and creatively supporting the growth in Foundation assets to support long-term funding goals. The incumbent will support IAIA’s mission, vision, and core values.
