As an important member of the central Donor Relations and Stewardship team, the Stewardship Coordinator will support the reporting, tracking and administration of new and existing donor funds. This individual will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and accuracy in donor information for stewardship reports and initiatives and for the programs they manage. They will manage account administration for all donor accounts at the university, provide stewardship and customer service for existing and new donors and manage the campus-wide pledge reminder program. The Stewardship Coordinator will work with campus partners to conduct and assist with an all fund audit and work with campus partners to collect information that will inform and uphold policies and procedures for account management to ensure timely fund administration and stewardship. The coordinator will be a resource for the university’s internal and external stakeholders on endowment reporting, donor data and fund management.

Education (include licenses, certifications, etc.):
Bachelor’s degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the degree.
3 years of professional work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; OR
5 years of professional work experience with an Associate’s Degree; OR
7 years of professional work experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an understanding of donor relations and stewardship to a successful fundraising program.  They must also have experience working in a complex environment and be able to manage situations that involve numerous and competing priorities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Experience using databases; proficiency in data analysis and quality control 
  • High proficiency using excel 
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and execute projects while meeting deadlines 
  • Strong written and oral communication
