Development Associate, Corporate & Foundation Relations

Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Development Associate provides strategic support for advancing the fundraising goals of the corporate and foundation team. This would include but not be limited to researching potential new sources of support, maintaining donor records, representing Institutional Advancement (IA) among faculty and program areas awarded grants, and acting as the primary lead on grant/gift acknowledgments, as well as required stewardship and grant reports that will help retain critical corporate and foundation funding that advances the mission of RFU. This is a junior-level position that supports a team of two senior professional staff members and various other leaders on campus engaged in corporate and foundation fundraising. The successful candidate will serve as a member of the IA team and play a critical role in helping to secure corporate and foundation funding and steward support for RFU’s philanthropic goals including the Empowering Scholars Campaign (currently in the quiet phase), the discovery and research agenda, and community outreach initiatives.
