Finance/Gift Processing Manager - Development Office

We’re seeking a full-time Finance/Gift Processing Manager for the Development Office located at 475 South Street in Morristown NJ.
This position reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for the management and oversight of Gift Processing, with ownership of the core operations for the full life cycle of a gift including data entry, gift processing, gift acknowledgement, financial reporting, and database integrity.  The Manager is responsible for continuously enhancing workflows, policies and technology for processing and acknowledging gifts from all fundraising channels for over 10,000 gifts annually.  Will provide support to the Director of Finance in areas such as accounting, auditing, reporting, benchmarking, and special projects.

  • Support the DOF in meeting financial reporting requirements, including monthly revenue reports, campaign reports, fundraiser reports and department metrics; in addition will provide support for annual benchmarking surveys, community benefit reporting and other internal/external requests.
  • Analysis and reconciliation of quarterly GAAP financial statements to internal foundation reports.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Data Management (DOF) and Finance Department to identify opportunities for improved processes and reporting.
  • Compliance with all Gift Processing and Gift Acceptance policies, as well as IRS guidelines.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Four years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in the use of Raiser’s Edge CRM
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
