The Leeds School of Business invites applications for the position
of Program Manager, Annual Giving. The Program Manager, Annual
Giving position will solicit and steward annual donors to the
School by creating and executing marketing communications and other
creative programming for Leeds alumni, families, and friends. The
successful candidate will have some demonstrated ability in
fundraising, program management, communications, and teamwork.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Engagement and Annual Giving at
Leeds, this individual will lead the management and expansion of
the School’s Annual Fund.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Provide day-to-day oversight for Annual Giving related programs within the department. These programs are designed to establish and build relationships with our alumni, family, and friends, increase donor retention, and provide meaningful engagement.
- Programmatic oversight includes developing and implementing an annual comprehensive plan with the overall goal to build and cultivate relationships, increase donor retention, provide meaningful engagement, and move donors through the pipeline.
- Lead the execution of the marketing strategy, including creating appeals, reports, and other relevant correspondence.
- Oversee programmatic responsibilities related to the Annual Giving program such as the Dean’s Society, coordinating two giving weeks, faculty and staff giving, calendar year end/fiscal year end outreach and/or additional campaigns throughout the year.
- Lead our Student Advancement Officer program, overseeing 5+ student interns who connect with our business alumni via preset meetings.
- Document solicitation information in our CRM; monitor system to assure proper recording of information and gifts.
- Compile quarterly reports showcasing program’s metrics.
- This position works closely with the Leeds Advancement Team Members and central CU Annual Giving.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1 year of experience in annual giving, alumni relations, communications, and/or related areas, with proven track record of success. Experience may include related volunteer work and/or internships.
- Demonstrated success at organizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of Excel, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
- Storyteller through writing
- Ability to be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and metrics-driven.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed goals.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people within and outside the Leeds Community.
- Proven ability to exercise good, professional judgment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and perform these tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with databases, spreadsheets, engagement metrics and financial transactions.
- Experience in a university environment.
