The Nature Conservancy is the leading conservation organization working to make a positive impact for people and nature around the world in 69 countries, all 50 United States, major US cities, and in your neighborhood. Founded in 1951, the mission of The Nature Conservancy is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. One of our core values is our commitment to diversity. Therefore, we are committed to a globally diverse and culturally competent workforce.

The California Chapter is seeking a Development Operations Coordinator. This position is an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of teams at The Nature Conservancy and to impact the success of the chapter’s fundraising, helping to advance both California and global conservation. This position processes millions in charitable donations, works with staff across the organization, and serves as a resource to their colleagues.

Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination, as well as demonstrated capabilities in working with development databases. An ideal candidate would be organized, possess strong attention to detail and administrative skills, be familiar with gift processing, be adept at both working and communicating across teams, and be a strong problem solver.

Like nature, our work is always evolving, so flexibility and a sense of adventure is also helpful!
