Description:

The Charitable Contributions Governance Analyst is a key member of the Community Investing and Development (CID) Charitable Contributions team, reporting to the Charitable Contributions Governance Manager. The CID team works to enhance Citi’s positive social impact through equity investing, innovative financial solutions, and strategic philanthropy. The Charitable Contributions Governance Analyst will provide support to the processing, management and reporting of the charitable contributions commodity and general operating support for the charitable governance team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform due diligence reviews of charitable contributions
  • Assist in providing testing and oversight support in Charitable Contributions compliance testing, Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) control monitoring & testing activities, reconciliations and key metrics.
  • Create and provide system, compliance and process training to commodity users and Citi colleagues as needed
  • Liaise with stakeholders to analyze, document, and address any compliance related concerns or issues, as appropriate
  • Respond to Charitable Contribution inquiries from internal Citi colleagues
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to Citi compliance requirement and initiatives such as internal and external audits, Citi Screenings, AB&C and AML approvals, MCA, Information Security, COB, and Records Management
  • Schedule and organize meetings and general event support such as note taking, follow ups and agenda maintenance
  • Support departmental needs and manage special projects as needed
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of work experience preferred
  • Must be detail oriented and organized and able to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral; customer service mind set.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new software programs
  • Must be willing and able to perform administrative tasks at an executive level, but also work independently on self-directed projects
  • Must be able to work with staff to problem solve and troubleshoot general inquiries
  • Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, take direction, and have a keen ability to prioritize
