Dartmouth College seeks two talented Development Writers (Donor Relations Officers) to develop engaging communications in support of our fundraising mission.
The Donor Relations Officer will serve as a communications resource for fundraising colleagues in Development, helping them to achieve their goals by providing high-quality writing of gift proposals, prospect briefings, and other customized communications for prospective donors. The responsibilities of this role complement the external, face-to-face donor responsibilities of fundraisers.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated writing experience and three to four years of relevant experience in fundraising (or a related field such as marketing, communications, or research). Keys to your success will be excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity, a demonstrated collaborative approach, and possession of strong editing, research, analytical, and organizational skills. Capacity to manage a high-volume workload and changing priorities, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to function independently with minimal oversight are essential. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Both positions offer a fully remote work opportunity.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team focused on developing engaging communications in support of our fundraising mission. Learn more about the Advancement division at Dartmouth by visiting us at http://advancement.dartmouth.org/careers. To apply, please visit
