The Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with Santa Clara
University in the search for an Associate Vice President,
University Marketing and Communications.
Reporting to the Vice President, University Relations, the
Associate Vice President, University Marketing and Communications
will lead and manage the planning and execution of an integrated
program of University marketing and communications that enhances
the University's image and identity and increases the awareness and
understanding of the University and its programs both internally
and externally.
The Associate Vice President will have a deep understanding of
marketing principles, strategies, and techniques, as well as the
methods needed to assess the outcomes of marketing programs,
including excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to
analyze the meanings and implications of data. The Associate Vice
President will also bring direct experience in the creation and
production of various types of communications materials to the role
— digital, print, and video — and will oversee the personnel who
produce these materials on behalf of the University.

A bachelor's degree is required for this position as is at least
ten years of professional experience in marketing and
communications, with a preference for leadership in higher
