Vice President for Advancement

North Park University is seeking a person of active and expressed Christian faith as its next highly accomplished Vice President for Advancement. Founded in 1891 by the Evangelical Covenant Church, North Park is located on Chicago's north side, with satellite campuses in Grayslake, Waukegan, and Arlington Heights. A values-driven institution, North Park offers a distinctive learning community informed by three institutional values; to be a community that is: Christian - We nurture faith, balancing commitment and freedom. City-centered - We engage Chicago as a dynamic place of learning and service. Intercultural - We embrace and value all people, celebrate the global cultural tapestry, and support the reconciling mandate of the Christian gospel.

Working closely with President Surridge and the other members of the University's Cabinet, the Vice President for Advancement will lead a team of approximately 15 professionals in the Office of Advancement, responsible for the areas of alumni relations and engagement development and special events. Following and building on the success of the University's largest and most successful campaign, Campaign North Park, the University, in the last year, has embarked on several new fundraising initiatives with targeted goals and targeted outcomes to enhance the mission and future of the University.
